Hog Hunt with a .308

Attached is a night hog hunt by MSGT Pinkston from USAMU. The video is
from one of his weapon mounted Thermal Imaging scopes. The scope is
able to feed directly to the video camera. MSGT Pinkston is one of a
few registered guide hunters authorized to hunt feral hogs with Thermal
Imaging and Night vision year round in Georgia.

Note one of the last hogs hit. The thermal picks up the blood spray at
100 yards. Not morbid, just a great scope.

Pretty good shooting considering they are moving targets.

To those who found this offensive, you need to understand that they are an invasive species. They reproduce like rabbits and are destructive. They harm local wildlife by displace native species and destroy their habitat. You may not like the method, but it is responsible control. Left unchecked, they would push out all local wildlife.
