Scenes from the first day of qualifying at the Toyo Tires NHRA nationals in Reading, PA. Scenes shown include: 1) Heavy rain at Maple Grove Raceway, 2) Track Drying efforts at the starting line, 3) Summit Racing's Jason Line signs autographs for the fans during the delay, 4) The jet dryers work on the top end of the track, 5) Despite the showers, the NHRA's Safety Safari works tirelessly to gain control of the racing surface, including using a vacuum to extract the water, 6) Finally the cars are unloaded and prepared for action and 8) Greg Anderson pulls his Summit Racing GXP into the water box to perform his burnout and make his first qualifying attempt.
