  • Thank you! I'm trying to do some research to find out if that is my grandfather in the '69 Barracuda at about the 2:50 mark! Great memories, thank you

  • I don't think it's a 69 Cuda. I'm pretty sure the year I made the film is 67-68. You'll have to compare the body details to known year pictures to be sure. Good luck and u r welcome!

  • I had to do a audio swap as the copy wright owners of the CSN "Bad Boys" cried foul over me using their song with out their permission. Like, people even know that song exists. I should send them a bill for using it!

  • WOW - I just think about the work that must have been done to get this into a digital format... Cool vid :)

  • yeah! Thx, had a couple thousand feet of 8mm film. was starting to smell, s sign that the film was about to rot.

  • what the heck is this song? id give ANYTHING to go back then!

  • the song is Bad Boyz by Crosby, Stills, Nash off thier After the Storm album

  • @lorendad very cool video, i live in the tarpon springs area and was at sunshine last night , nice to get a look back in time . thanks !

  • At the start of the video the guy sitting on the top of the dragster roll bar stearing into the pits is Dan Jones, it was his track signature style. He has since passed away while only in his 40's.

  • The best I can determine by stopping the video and studying it as well as possible the Barracuda at the 2:50 mark appears to be a '67. I cannot make out any side marker lights on it. The '69s had rectangular markers, the '68s had round ones and the '67s had none. That would make this car a '67 which would agree with when the video was shot.

  • We sure had fun back then didn't we no electronics you had to build it drive or ride and cut a good light. I would do it all over again in a heart beat.

  • This brought back many memories, I worked there at the track as a kid in the early 60's & my sister's boyfriend raced cars there. I spent most Saturday nights at the !/4 mile oval track watching the stock car races . Those were the good ole days ! Thank You !

  • Great video, but kinda scary seeing those light standards by the track with no wall in front of them, wouldn't want to hit one of those at speed.
