VERY nicely done...one of the best versions. I rank Perry just behind Frank and Nat-- up there with Matt Monro. Such a nice baritone. He was dismissed to casually as a crooner knock-off of Bing, but he was far better than Bing. Dean was a crooner knock-off.

Wow, never knew he sand this. I watched Perry as a little boy, along with my big sisters. He seemed like a naturally friendly, wonderful man, with a great set of pipes. I even give him a mention in my novel, Southern Shade (which is about as worthy as Elvis getting a mention on page 7 of the Thrifty Nickel. ;-)
