well to be fair they didn't write this song for the commercial, this is one of their oldest songs.

Musicians needs to eat. Commercials offer cash to bands who allow their songs to be featured in commercials. Cash can get you food. You don't want Jason and Kori to be famished on tour, do you??? Anyway, does this song sound anything like a jingle? I think not.
