Took my first acid trip at an Ed Hall show. Can't remember too much (that was 16 years ago) but strong themes of community, unity, all that shit. See, I was tripping my nuts off in the pit...

Witnessed the insanity live in Chicago when they opened for Butthole Surfers. I was very young and very alone and very scared. Gloryhole is fantastic. Thanks for this post!

had the pleasure of opening for these fellas in columbia sc. at rockafellas while they were promoting motherscratcher and was completely floored. then caught them at the knitting factory in full painted regalia also at the rat in boston it was heavenly.

Damn, had me some fine nights with Ed Hall back in the 90's.. opening for the Butthole Surfers and several gigs at the Euclid Tavern and Grog Shop in Cleveland. Amazing band. When they got their paint on it was pure bliss.
