he's been shooting pretty badly in games though... if he could shoot anywhere near as well in games, he would be mad good!

you can't expect to shoot as well in games, because you're more tired and exhausted from running, defending, and trying to get open. Not to mention the tough defense from the other team, the loud crowd, and nervousness.

you are definately correct, but what I mean is, when practicing, Kapono might be one of the best shooters, but in-game, he reverts to a mediocre shooter (even when compared to other players). MJ is the greatest of all time for his heroics in-game, but we don't know if anyone is "better" when not in-game. Judge players in-game, not during practice, that is what I think.

That's true. Michael Jordan has no fear, he knows he's better than everyone, and people trust him. I don't know if Kapono developed enough trust during his years for people to hand him the ball at crucial moments. JJ Reddick has a developed reputation in NCAA but he's still not seeing minutes in the NBA. I think if both of them get time and opportunity, they well develop into better in game shooters.
