  • WOW! Thanks flashframe7777 so much, Sylvers fan thank you I'm sure. :)

  • Hey, if you could that would be great! Thanks! :)

  • I have their first singles on Verve ("Just A Lonely Soul" and "Come On Give Me A Chance"). I used to have "Time To Ride" /"You've Got What It Takes" which was their first Pride single. But lost it a few years ago before transferring it.

  • @flashframe7777

Wow! If you can, you should consider uploading those first singles for Sylvers YouTube fans to hear. I'm not giving up the search continues. :)

  • Does anyone have the last album The Sylvers did on Pride records called "The Sylvers IV featuring Shirley Sylvers"? I've only seen it once in my life.

  • @flashframe7777

I don't. I've be searching for, "The Slyvers IV featuring Shirley Sylvers for a while now.

  • Love this!!!! Funky.....Classic !!!!

  • Im guilty to sleeping on the Sylvers during the 70s, I was too wrapped up in the Jackson 5. I dont think the radio gave them any love either at least not in Chicago where Im from. I did like Foster Misdomeaner that was a jam. When Angie Pat and Foster going the older siblngs they had big hits so they were on the radio more. I miss these groups they had real music real lyrics!!

  • Recommended: The Sylvers' "TCB". If you think this is a jam, listen to "TCB". The bassline is wicked as shit, it reminds of the bass in Snoop's first breakout track - only better. If I don't find it here, I may post it.

  • @flashframe7777 Do you remember what the picture on the album looks like?

  • man...i was born in 85...is it me or was there just something in the air from the late 60's to mid 70's? Soul, Funk and R&B from that time period is just beyond mindblowing! Growing up then must have been a trip and a half! Hearing the Sylvers for the first time last night has made me go hunting for vinyls of them on eBay and buying my first turntable...mom retired hers back in the mid 90's...us younger cats truly missed out on some great stuff...
