The Getaway - Velveteen

This is an obscure yet brilliant song by a band referred to as the "Death Cab for Cutie of Germany". And we definitely need more bands like Death Cab. I heard this one particular song when I mistakenly downloaded a preview of a recent Death Cab album, which turned out to contain all songs by the band Velveteen.

I just had to share this gem with you, as I couldn't find it anywhere on Youtube. Enjoy.

Haha, I also had this as 'Cath...' by Death Cab, on my ipod, although the singers voice does sound similar.

For all those who do not know - Death Cab had "leaked" their own album online as an April Fools joke. But instead of releasing their stuff, Velveteen let them use their 2007 album as the tracklist.

It's no coincidence this song is labeled as "Cath..." on your computers, you dirty little song bandits ;P (Hey - I fell for it too)
