Try to see what we see. I delivered packets this morning 5 to 8 days late 1st class packets and we are not on strike they are sitting in our office because we are under staffed and trying out new part-time duties that don't get the job done ,but do save money. This is Royal Mails modernisation. And the sadest thing about these packets is that the people I delivered to where just happy to get them, but they should be outraged and complaining to postcom, but Royal Mail have let the service get so bad that people are happy to pay for 1st class and a 3rd class service.It's bad now how much worse will the government let it get. The CWU say this is enough. So support the UNION and your Postman.

yep the same at every office in the land i think...and i bet your managers are like ours...sitting in the office drinking coffee eating toast...looking on ebay...absorbtion is the they say...i say rubbish.....lets do the job properly...take our breaks before we leave the office..correct pouch weights then cut off coz we wont have time to complete.....then lets see how long they last

same at my office mate. plus the way they structured the summer lapsing was a joke. id got extra mail to deliver that was nearly a mile away from my walk..... ridiculous

Modernise instead of striking and shirking or you'll all lose out when private companies take over your jobs!

We will modernise but Royal mail just cut.
New machines that cut down prep time, are RM using these to get us out quicker so we can deliver early NO, RM use these machines so one person can now prep two walks and that means part time postman. Online shopping are RM up grading for more packets NO, RM haven't got dedicated packet deliver drives and only a 3 and half hr deliver span so packets don't get delivered and sit around the office until they can be absorbed into another days delivery.
