@Egon420 Sounds like you might suffering from an Ground Loop(I think it`s called?) ! Try plugging your extenction into different sockets ! I`ve got the ART pro (The one with the extra dials etc) and it mentions it in the leaflet ! Make sure the ARTs phantom power is switched off if your Mic has it`s own power supply ! Peace Ye`All !!

Great video series thank you for taking the time to make them. I use the MP to give my passive fretless jazz some juice I replaced the stock tube with a G.E 12xAu7 clear top sounds beautiful

I liked your series of videos. However you could have done some audio - even used some PD clips with male/female vocal range. Or you could have done some of your video with voice-over.
But nice videos with good tips. Thank you.

Fantastic series - thanks very much for putting this together. Just waiting for my Tube pm Studio to arrive and have a prized Mullard ready to go in, hoping it will be a good combination. Lots of people seem to experience hum problems with these - earth loops? The manual gives advice on curing this.

Very helpful tips here. I still can't get my ART tube pac to stop making the humming sound though. First day I had it, it didn't make the noise. Then I hooked up a Berhinger tube pac mic up to it (which came with its own power supply, which runs into the art pre amp) and all of a sudden it makes this horrible noise. Any tips will be very helpful, thanks.
Duuude, the Art Tube is mainly used for vocals -_- and that's the one thing you didn't review...

@hyperliteBo You may be right. The reason is is that I don't sing. I attempted to do some things by talking but after I listened to the result it seemed worthless.
