please answer this: Is classical guitar easier to learn for beginner than acoustic? My dad got me acoustic with brass strings, my fingers are black and bloody, wrist hurts and still can't play a single barre cord shown in this video. Should i carry on, go for classical or maybe electric guitar?

@raymix1 It depends on what kind of music you wanna play. I started the guitar by playing classical piece before covering this kind of songs, so i automatically learned how to play with a classical guitar. But if i would have started by blues or rock songs, i would have learnt on a acoustic or electric guitar. Don't worry for your black and bloody fingers : when you're a beginner, it happens even with a classical guitar after some hours of practice. But your fingers will get used to it :).

I think I just broke my fingers on that barre...

Its hard to see what ur doing, but I tried to place my fingers by myself, just by listening, and it almost worked. :)
