  • you can see in the vid that the aerograden needed water...

  • The add water light comes on when the water level is low...and goes off (as you can see) when water is added and the system is reset.

  • While there was hardly enough time in a 45 second video to point out the differences in growing technology and other areas, we will work on one so everyone can really see the differences between the Power Plant and the AeroGarden.

  • The Power Plant Pro uses a rotating sprayer system that allows more oxygen to be absorbed into the plants roots while suspended in the air - the 6/3-pod AeroGarden roots are submersed in water, & fed oxygen with an air pump. This creates a weaker root system that is more likely to suffer from transplant shock.

  • So you ran the cheapest aerogarden against the most expensive power plant and then claimed victory? Nice...

  • I declare Shenanigans!

  • hello, i have a quick question, does the powerplant pro ever top watering as in. do i need to unplug the powerplant because it just keeps watering my seeds. also,it turns really slow is that how its suppose to be? anyone who has this product and has succeeded in planting please comment. tnxx

  • How does the roots not get tangled while it spins? that just boggles me... Is it possible for you to do a vid of the inside of the Power Plant Pro?

  • In the first sentence you say you're testing comparably sized models. In the second sentence you say the powerplant is half the size. The power plant is actually larger than the AeroGarden 3. So I think it is fair to say that the powerplant comps price wise with the 6 pod aerogardens that you didn't test against, but is almost twice the price of the smaller, 3 pod aerogarden that you did test against.

  • Hydroponics is growing in water and nutrients, which the AG certainly does. Not true aeroponics maybe, but neither is the powerplant, more of an Ein Gedi method or deep water culture. In true aeroponics, roots would have no contact with the resoivoir.
