how long did it take you to get your normal hair? My perm is still there, it's been a year now :|

I'm currently using Hair Gear moisture mist for a leave-in conditioner. It took me almost 2 years for the effects of the perm to completely disappear. I know its tough to let it grow out, but just keep up the regular trims to keep it looking as healthy as possible.
