Jake Walton was one of the original pioneers of the 'Hurdy Gurdy' in the UK. Black Sarah was written by Dulcimer player Lorraine Lee (Now Lorraine Hammond) after reading the book "Gypsies, wanderers of the world" which she got for Jake in the USA. Jake first recorded the song on his album 'Sunlight and Shade' and also on the album 'Songs from the Gurdy Man.' Jake performs the song with Gloucestershire based Anglo-Celtic trio Tinkerscuss. Jakes music will appeal to people who have a natural love of nature and the Celtic tradtion.
