Freakin amazing band. These guys are so much stronger than commercial pop bands like Weezer (although Weezer has some great stuff, too). Bobgoblin should have been huge...

LOved the uniforms. Great band. Drummer didn't play for chomsky another guy. The guitar did play in a weezer cover band called weiner with Glen from Chomsky. Maybe he played with them later. Don't know.

...the drummer's name was Rob Avsharian, i believe. also the drummer for Chomsky, and a member of the 2 o'clock lab band @ UNT. Sick! i snuck into Ricks Place in Denton, TX when i was 16 and saw these guys, always wore the jump suits

ya, "12 point masterplan" is their 2nd cd. their first is called "jet". after bobgoblin, litzwire and the crew changed their name to the adventures of jet. aoj has two albums, "part 3, coping with insignificance", and "muscle". aoj is even better than bobgoblin.

Bobgoblin is now or was Called AOJ (adventures of Jet) after being dropped from their label. Other recordings you will find under the names "Adventures of Jet" and the Commercials . You can see them playing as AOJ by searching youtube for "Emily Mazunrinsky" or well...Adventures of Jet. Searching "AOJ" brings up too many other wrong links.

Love this band! I got the Masterplan Cd some time ago. There is little info on the band around the net. My question to anyone in the know is: Are there any other recordings of Bobgoblin available besides the Masterplan cd? Thanks in advance and specifically to the band: You did good, one of my all time favorite cd's from begining to end!
