  • Great job... Newfies for the win.

  • It isn't that we forget from time to time, it's because we remember day to day.

Thank you Gander, Thank you Newfoundland.

  • Gander was indeed a star during the horrible time - but let's remember all the other Canadian cities where the locals swarmed the airports looking for "the stranded plane people" to take into their homes! At Pearson International Airport, they were turning people away - "We have homes for everyone! We don't need any more volunteers!"

  • Thanx Chelsey L. That was good.

  • the saddest day in history where we were true brothers for the first time, wish it could have stayed that way. Shall we remember 9/11.

  • Great video, well done!

  • Check out ntv or CBC channel. We're now having a remember 9/11 ceremony here in Gander now!

  • Newfoundland makes me SO proud to be a Canadian!!! I know there were other Canadian towns and airports, who did the same thing, as Gander. Not just being good hosts, but the fact that our country, "bit the bullet", and took the chance, that there were more terrorists, but we landed them anyway!

  • On the 10th anniversary of the terrorism that touched America, I can't say America has grown, or is better.

The world, is more attuned and heightened to terrorism, and occasionally fails.

America though, has become a stinking cesspool of hatred and disease.

Maybe I should dial that back a bit.

30% of Americans live in a stinking cesspool of hatred and disease.

    Make up time:

A deity that doesn't exist honours you and wants you to have a good life if you live in America.

    God Bless America

  • It was a little hard to take the initial criticism, that those bad guys came from Canada, when, really, they came from the States, internally, and , we ONLY accepted flights that would have been shot down, had they tried to reach their destinations. Canada had big shoulders on this count! I'm SO proud of my country! No one could have known there were no more terrorists, but we took those planes anyway!

  • Canucks are briliant for their humanity and generosity, I'll be thinking of you on Sunday and not your interminably whinging southern neighbours. Happy trails.
