@jaytlr9 Most actors audition for roles they know they're probably not right for. It's good experience even if they don't get the part and it's a good way to get your face around. You never know - you may not be right for the part they're casting for then, but later on they could be casting for someone that you're perfect for. That's why their agents would have sent them to audition if they were "too short" or too...whatever.
