  • I have the same amount of information after watching this as i did before. Next time try to not speak with a pringles can into the computers builtin microphone...

  • @internetsucks2010 for more up to date information please visit our website. There you'll find a newer comparison chart and if you want more technical info, see the blog post "Icinga vs Nagios – a developer’s comparison" that will take you to a wiki chart. Thanks for your feedback - next time, I'll try speaking through a tube of vegemite ;)

  • looks good, however, can you compare Icinga and Nagios XI, not core?

  • @jeroth1987 hmm, Icinga is free and open source while Nagios XI is a pay-for-product and closed. It would be like comparing Icinga to Tivoli. Nonetheless, have a look at our website for the latest comparison chart. Icinga has 2 user interfaces - Icinga New Web is a better in comparison to Nagios XI.

  • glad to hear! about section on our website is probably the best place to start

  • icinga sucks...

  • @ikaruichiro Thanks for your thoughts, we're curious though as to why? Constructive criticism is welcome!

  • The speaker's swallowing syllables, hard to understand.

  • @pauxps Aussies are at the forefront of language evolution. Fortunately syllables have been removed from our everyday linguistics thus conserving energy.

  • Nagios XI is 95% open, and most of the components can be used with Core. In your position I wouldn't want to compare them either. nagios is better than tivoli as well.

  • Please change the narrator.Sometimes the voice is loud, or whispering my god what weird.

  • @ikaruichiro your comment too!

  • Well done. You have developed an entire application to solve a question that nobody asked.

  • @Icinga Vegemite FTW! :)

  • @Icinga I think what he mean to say was Rocks...
