'I will furnish the cigarettes.' A kindly gesture but I, for one, would have been a bit wary. Never has the phrase 'whacky baccy' been more apposite.
The most striking thing is that these episodes are much more interesting than the frivolous 60s TV series or the current overblown feature films. They could do a lot worse than simply re-work this entire story.

The first few scenes of this chapter was called "the takeout." It explained how Batman and Robin escaped the blast. You noticed that Batman had been unmasked by the villians and was lying in a chair. Dick Curtis set the bomb and was going to leave when Batman captured him. Of course Curtis dies in the blast, but what about the other thugs who saw Batman unmasked. They now know his secret identity.

The four thugs at 1:17 (left to right) Jack Ingraham, Tom London, George J. Lewis, and Dick Curtis.

They should have done what they did for Phantom Empire by flickering flames or some other sci-fi transition in between title screens to go along with the music. It would have made the music and title even more dramatic.

called robin a "stooge".

Absolutely!!
I love the title to this chapter, it is as dramatic as the music. They should have worked this music into future Batman films, it is pretty cool.
