  • Can you do this with raw almonds? Do you have to soak them first?

  • Yes, you can do it with raw almonds. They should be soaked and then soak water drained, and then add purified water and run the almonds+water thru the juicer.

  • is there a maximum daily limit on enjoying nut milk or is it ok to enjoy as much nut milk as you like.

  • That depends on your diet. If you normally drank as much dairy milk as you would like in a day, I would easily say you can substitute as much nut/seed milk you would like and it WOULD be healthier. I would say you can enjoy as much fresh juice (especially vegetable juice) in a day.. It all comes down to the alternatives- if nut/'seed milk is better than the liquid you would drink, then its healthier, if it displaces juice, its not as healthy.. I dont drink nutmilk "as much as i like".

  • Can you also make hemp milk in the Omega VRT or Hurom juicer? And what about the Omega 8000 series?

  • Yes, you can make hemp milk in the VRT or Hurom. It will also probably "work" in the Omega 8003 8004 8005 8006, but it will be ALOT pulpier, which is not desirable (in my opinion).

  • While packaged hempseed milk is probably "better" than bottled dairy milk, in my opinion, its always best to make your own seed/nut milks at home, as you will get a higher quality product that tastes better, has more nutrition and you know exactly how its made.

  • what does hemp seed milk taste like?

  • Thanks, John. I just got my order of hemp seeds with the shells still on.

BTW, they cost 1/3 the price of the pre-hulled ones. I now have to soak them. My question is, you said that they can't be considered raw. Does that mean that most of the enzymes and some nutrients found in the raw versions will be missing? If that's the case then the shell-on cost savings, although practical, mightn't be so beneficial.

  • Dont need to deshell them to make the nut milk. Your nut milk will be more "full bodied" if using the unhulled hemp seeds. In the USA, unhulled hemp seeds have been heat processed, so they can not be considered raw, if that is a concern for you.

  • I mention it earlier in the video, I added dates for sweeness.
