Shara Worden is part of a generation of younger musicians who grew up on rock, pop, and punk, but can also compose and play orchestral music. She debuts "We Added It Up," which she wrote for Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, live in Studio 360. I've been waiting for a new album from the moment 'A Thousand Shark's Teeth' came out. And I can already say it was worth the wait. I will get the album as a gift from my boyfriend on Sunday and will see her once again live in November. This woman makes me believe in music again. She makes me strife to one day be as good of a singer. Shara, never forget to be awesome.

We have with Shara Worden what seems so obvious, a young and very beautiful talent of great magnitude. I was privileged to hear her live this morning, thank you Studio 360 and NPR for bringing her to the listeners. It is a rare moment and pleasure to hear this kind of young genius whose style pioneers a new, hybrid in voice and music genres. Thank you.
