Khao Kradong Forest Park (วนอุทยานเขากระโดง):
This extinct volcano, the only hill anywhere near town, is now a relaxation spot. The top is 265m above sea level and it houses "Phra Suphattharabophit", a large Buddha image that is the symbol of Buriram. The hill is located about 6 km outside Buriram town on the Buriram-Prakhon Chai road (Highway No. 219). The summit has a pool believed to be the caldera and in the area are many plant species worth studying.
This video was taken in the dry season. I run this hilly loop often - 1500 meters - and at daybreak I have found the town's cyclists often already up at the top overlooking the waking town.
