have been looking for footage/photos of this for years. i echo phylmlaurie's comments below, as i was the guy who built the berlin wall float. i can barely see myself at about 3:15 in my east german guard garb. i had left a message on the gd hotline with a float idea, and peter barsotti called me back, asked me how much it would take to realize the vision, wrote me a check and i built the thing with a ton of volunteers at some warehouse space south of market. amazing night. thanks for sharing.

THANK YOU! I built the white pyramid and was riding on the front through the sea of ecstatic people. The generator on my float was powering all the lights behind me. It was one on of the most fantastic moments of my life! I've never scene video of it. God Bless Bill Graham, Peter Barsotti and Bob Barsotti.This is fantastic! I LOVE YouTUBE!
