@leegenix I really despise the word stupid when the user really has no idea what they're talking about. There's no more danger here than anywhere else while kayaking. You obviously don't kayak. I HAVE seen it from a big ship - fighting the crowd, trying to peak over other people's heads and through bodies like a bunch of hoodlums at a rock concert. Kayaks would get you the best seat in the house - guaranteed. Next time, I see the glaciers, I WANT to be in a kayak! This looked awesome!

the waves are so wide that you just rise and fall gently in a kayak. not very dangerous.

How stupid is that, to get that close in a kayak? I thought it was the bow of a ship at first. The best way to see it would be from a big ship at least a mile away.

Isn't it dangerous to be in a kayak in water that cold when the kayak is being tossed about by waves like that which could potentially capsize it?
