  • Yep.... there were several games written by fans in Extended BASIC.... one Star Wars that was done particularly well was written by Alessandro Betori. Blows this one away. =) you can download it free at the TIGameshelf

  • This is not an official game, it's a fan game. It was later published as Star Force, IIRC (or some other slightly changed name).

  • @SteveBenway If only the TI Donkey Kong had included the bouncing jackhammers it would have been a truly complete version. It's still one of the best, and one of the few to feature all 4 boards. But that board has no challenge without them.

  • So when the Deathstar approaches, you just shoot it?

  • Obviously Mr. Lucas did not care how bad the games were before Lucasarts started making games. Just as long as he got paid!

  • It's weird how the quality of TI game ports vary so hugely. Like, Popeye and Donkey Kong are truly excellent, while this is easily the worst Star Wars game I've ever seen.

I guess that's true of every system, but it seems somehow exaggerated on the TI.

  • lol, this was pretty bad, even for a TI game

  • Texas Instruments games' had a hard gameplay level! :D
