    Well I think its obvious that many parts of the city do look normal. The rebels said they have brought in 3.000 fighters. That is not much in a city of over 2.5 million people. The war in Syria is still fairly limited. Consider the recent war in Lybia. IT only lasted 8 months, Lybia has only 5,6 million inhabitants, yet conservative estimates speak of 30.000 war related deaths.
