Remarks at 34th Annual New York University Hospitality Industry Investment Conference on June 4, 2012 (Transcript Below)

Governor Christie: America used to be emulated around the world not only because of our economic success, but because we had a government that helped to work with business and its citizens to get things done. Not so today. And so we're going to be judged too and the question for us is going to be when we're judged by our children and grandchildren, what are they going to say? Are they going to say that when this moment of challenge came that we stuck our heads in the sand? That we assuaged our guilt with the creature comforts that we have earned and used in this life and that we said the problems are too big and we are too small to make a difference. Someone has to fix this but it's not going to be me. Or are they are going to say of us that when this moment came, like other generations before us, we stepped up. We endured pain that needed to be endured. We put aside our partisan differences. We worked for the good of our entire country because we wanted to keep what is in my mind the most solemn promise that we make as Americans and that is to make America a greater place for our children and grandchildren than it was for us when we were born. That's the choice that's before not just President Obama and Governor Romney, it's not just a choice that's in front of me and other governors, Republicans and Democrats around the country. This is a choice that's in front of all of you. You are leaders in the business world. You are leaders in your community. You are leaders of your families. And you all have to decide whether we're going to continue to kid ourselves or whether we're going to step up and finally tell each other the truth, to hell with the consequences for it. That's what that generation in the 30s and 40s did for America and the world and that's what every subsequent generation has done for us. And now the question is what will we do?

Get a life. Seriously, get a life! By the way, just because Romney is rich, doesn't mean he is only cares about the top 1%. Your beloved Obama has no idea what normal people are like. He said, "Sometimes I forgot," when referring to the economic crisis. The Democratic party is mostly the top 1%. They just want to spend more and raise taxes because they have no idea what normal people have to live through.

Public Service Workers pay into the retirement system for a minimum of 25 Years it's up to the state to make wise investments so after those 25 years it grows into a pension. If it is not enough don't blame the worker blame the state for not investing it correctly

Bill you are right. I worked for the State of Georgia for 23 years and had a brain tumor for 10 of those years not knowing it per a Neurologist. They did a reduction in force and I was even classified and now I got not one penny to my name and the Governor got busted for giving his daughter in law 90,000 from campaign funds and the commissioner who fired over 700 people turned around and gave bonuses to 46 people from 22,000 to 1,034 for just to take a State job. he also got a 22,500.00 bonus

That is what I have been saying for a long time.. In the 30's and 40's Republicans almost ruined this country with the great depression and if we let them they will do it again. Slash you need to educate your self my friend. Every Republican President since Ronald Reagan has either doubled or tripled the national debt. Just google it or do you even know what google is.

Correct - Thank you. Bush, as well as all members of Congress (including Pelosi) were fed the same faulty data from Intelligence on Iraq WMD. Recall when Clinton was president, and Hussain gassed those villagers up in northern Iraq prompting the UN to establish the "no fly zone". That gassing was WW-1 era mustard gas - certainly a WMD. Hussain destroyed his WMD's knowing Bush would attack and beat him in the old weapons shell game. Hussain was not a stupid man, just morally corrupt.

As of 2010, you only needed to make over $347,000/yr to be the 1%. Nice, but not Warren Buffet territory.

Part-1 All this talk about Bain could end if Romney could produce a few people saying

Worker-A “I was making $28,000 after Bain Capital took over the company my salary jumped to $56,000

Worker-B I had a auto accident broke my leg I was out of work for 6 month Bain continue paying me for that whole time’
