  • I think they probably released this game to early. You can't even rob those haughty liontaurs as a thief. And that would have been fun to do!

It's really mostly a Paladin/Fighter game, though there's some stuff for the Wizard to do too. But I feel the Thief kind of got to little to do.

  • @Shavarnarak Yeah that's true, there were like no houses to rob or a thieves' guild or anything, just one or two sequences here and there. Thief kinda got jacked in this game, which is a shame. :/ Wizards at least got their little lotus thingy to do. If they'd given it a few more months it might have been a bit more solid.

  • I recently replayed as the Wizard, and when I exported something went foobarb so that when I imported into QFG4 my Open Spell skill came out as 29864. And I ran a test with my QFG2VGA character, so I know the problem is in the QFG3 export. I don't suppose you know how to fix this?

  • Did you level up your skill in each spell, like getting Flame Dart up to 300 or something? Sometimes if those are too high, they can freak out when you export to 4. At least, I think that's what happens.

  • If I remember correctly, a programming oversight prevents you from obtaining the maximum score in this game, right?

  • Hmm...possible. QFG3 was terribly, terribly glitchy. I'll have to check.

  • dark magic causes the hero to breakdance? ...ok :p

  • @israelidude26

Are you kidding? This ending, while it doesn't really ruin the whole game series, is still bland and unimpressive. It certainly doesn't lessen the "rushed to market too early" feel of this game.

  • When I played this game, I thought that the hero did some weird victory dance at 2:02. My character was a wizard, so I thought that he did those flashy things himself somehow.

  • All techtite said was that this ending made the first two games meaningless.

  • I would have had the hero get sucked into the portal with the demon wizard when he pushed the orb. As the portal closes behind the hero his friends make it up to him a moment too late. The Ending would be ceremony in which the hero is remember for his sacrifice in bringing peace to Tarna.

Then the hero finds himself in the cave at the beginning of Shadows of Darkness. Then Cut away to Ad Avis and Katrina looking into crystal ball.

  • well, screw techtite cause he/it obviously doesn't have a clue. This is the best ending to a game in this series, it made me cry at the time and definitely wait for the fourth game.

  • This ending was said to ruin the whole game series.

  • One of the worst game endings, according to Techtite.
