About This Performance:
Roo Grass band members Sue Carson & Robbie Long were scheduled to rehearse with me this particular Monday evening. In the day leading up to the rehearsal I hatched a plan to film one of our performances. So, I called up Peter Bower (He has been photographing the making of our new album) and asked if he'd film this thing. After a few camera angle set-ups and a few hours we had ourselves another little piece of Roo Grass history.

About The Loop Pedal:
I have been using the loop pedal in my solo shows for four years now. It is a fantastic extension of my creativity when performing by myself. Margarita is the first song that I have successfully incorporated looping with other musicians. And in this case 'freakin' fantastic musicians!

I use two Boss RC-2 Loop Stations. One of them controls the Vocal looping and the other controls the guitar looping. Although they are patched into separate signal chains I have joined both of them together with a metal bar. This allows me to trigger them simultaneously. Nothing is pre-recorded on the loop pedal. Everything I do is looped live and then erased at the end of the song.


'Margarita' is featured on the upcoming album 'Lucky Country' which is due for release in October 2011.
