An inbound UP North Line train departs the Wilmette station around 8:05 AM on a Sunday morning. Motive power is provided by an F40PHM "Winnebago", a sight becoming more increasingly common on this route.

  • @Toltecnology Yeah, that's the connection I'm sure haha.

  • @classicalman114 I see like the school colors of Northwestern:)

  • @Toltecnology Some L lines do, such as the Midway Branch (Orange Line) and the South Side Elevated (Green Line). The line running through my city, Evanston, is known as the Purple Line (Evanston Line).

  • @classicalman114 L must go through the South side of Cook county huh?

  • @Toltecnology It could be, but not as nearly dangerous as taking the L though lol.

  • @classicalman114 OIC. I thought you might have been saying it was dangerous.

  • @Toltecnology Because there are such a limited amounts of trains on Sunday nights.

  • @Toltecnology This line sees a fair amount, but not quite enough haha. Taking this line home is one way I commute, and when I get off work late on a Sunday, Metra is not an option.
