Prop 16 (Two-Thirds Requirement for Local Public Electricity Providers Act ) was created by California's biggest utility company to trick voters into make a friggin' constitutional amendment against communities forming their own power companies -- requiring a 2/3 majority just to use a city-purchased pencil to write a note about it!

And they're doing it in an election most people don't even know is going on -- the Republican primary on June 8!

We're trying to get 1 million strong against PG&E with 1 millionth their propaganda budget. Join us by SHARING THIS VIDEO EVERYWHERE!

  • PROP 16 is dead but PGE is stilling there and power over ratepayer. Why can't I choose other friendly electric company than PGE????

  • nuclear power is the greenest source of power known on the planet!! oh my god you morons, read a little bit and get behind nuclear power!!!

  • This measure, very deceptively named "Taxpayers Right to Vote", is financed entirely by PG&E, and I have come to the conclusion that it is actually a power grab, an effort by PG&E to further monopolize our state's power grid. Please vote NO on Prop 16. This measure is bad for California, and not needed.

  • Ben said it best on Twitter: I hope you see Prop 16's a scam.

Nothing's less competitive than a gov Prop introduced/funded by one company to keep monopoly.

Nothing's more wasteful than special elections to do what our reps are paid to do.

On top of that, nothing's more undemocratic than letting a corporation buy their way into changing the CA constitution.

    Vote no!
