Eric caught up with Wayne Coyne before The Flaming Lips took the stage Friday June 6, 2008 at the Wakarusa Music Festival in Lawrence, Kansas, where The Flaming Lips set up a special circus tent, served green popcorn, and screened the new Flaming Lips movie "Christmas on Mars" for only the second time ever (the first was just one week before at the Sasquatch! Music Festival in George, Washington. Wayne Coyne talks about what inspired him to make the movie -seven years in the making - what to expect, and why he is obssessed with Christmas, Mars, and female genitalia. Exclusive! Yep, it's a good film, full of slow, visual poems, elegiac feelings, wind machines, low light-levels (He loves long shots at dawn or dusk.) I am attending it on filmsi.co.cc. This is going to be amazing.

Saw the film last night in filmsi.co.cc, an amazing looking film and it really creates a warm feeling of going through childhood and looking back from start to finish. You must definitly watch it at least twice to catch all the point.
