The Sunday Night Football skit was HILARIOUS... LOL!

The marvelous Jane Lynch ("Glee," "Best in Show," "A Mighty Wind") did a great parody of the bloodless "Sunday Night Football" theme. The Faith Hill-performed song, based on a much better Joan Jett tune entitled "I Hate Myself for Loving You," is about as exciting as one of Bob Costas' halftime video essays. Jane, however, put a different (and much longer) and interesting spin on it.

NBC also showed the clip on SNF, and the Al Michaels & Cris Collinsworth combo took it in stride -- Collinsworth noted that he's had far worse directed at him from a parody perspective. Ha ha!

I just wonder how many years have the "SNL" writers been waiting to make fun of Faith Hill's "Sunday Night Football" song? LOL!
