  • great patience mate, fire pistons can be fiddly but they sure do work. I have found once I get an ember, I then transfer that ember to a larger piece of charred cloth(or other charred material)and then put that larger bit of char cloth into the tinder bundle.This way the ember lasts a lot longer and when blown burns hotter.

  • I have never used a fire piston but as it makes a tiny ember you need to have a really good and fine tinder bundle. Good job.
