Rare video footage of No Doubt playing live during their early years when John Spence was in the band. This was taped at Fender's Ballroom in Long Beach, California, where No Doubt headlined Mod Expo III in 1987 (I don't know the exact date). In this clip they play a cover of "Baggy Trousers" by Madness. Video quality is poor due to the age and condition of the tape.

  • R.I.P JOHN SPENCE....

  • Great vid. This is why youtube is such a great thing...rare stuff that would never have seen the light of day.

No Doubt singing about chaotic London schools in the 70's seems odd to me. But fair play to them, they do love their Madness. I've read Gwen cried for a week when she heard Suggsy was married ;)
