  • I think i was more interested in watching the conductor that listening to the piece. Conductors with great passion and expression always make me smile :)

  • We don't have to judge this interpretation as the best or not, it's just Levine's way to see this piece at that moment.

    I don't think that this speed "Kills" the piece, adomarc. I think that this is a question of how we used to hear some pieces and if someone plays it different, we probably think that the traditonal way is the correct, and the new interpretation is heretic heheh!

    PS: Forgive my english is too bad heheh! But I think you could understand what I mean....

  • Verdi´s Nabucco tell us, by the means of music, the biblical story of the jews under Babylonian oppression and what happened then. Levine´s conduction has to be qualifyed as excellent one.
