Building off the successful design of the HAF 932, the latest addition to Cooler Master's High Air Flow series is the HAF-X. The case brings with it an updated design that is centred around an industrial, heavy machinery-style concept and it looks to redefine itself as a performance oriented leader.

The company has listened to feedback from consumers and included much needed changes such as a black interior, dust filters and expanded airflow design. Cooler Master also wants to improve the experience for system builders with excellent cable management and an easy tool-less drive bay design (for the most part).

One of the most notable features about this case is its ability to support virtually every consumer level piece of hardware available. From enormous Cooler Master air coolers, to oversized ATI video cards and even motherboards based on non industry supported dimensions like XL-ATX, this case does it all.

The HAF-X is also one of the most feature rich cases available on the market with unique additions specifically tuned for better cooling and easier use. The best part is, that it ultimately leaves the finished layout completely up to the end user. It allows for the convenience of hot swappable drive bays that don't completely sacrifice 5.25" slots and still includes plenty of internal options. The airflow can be adjusted to focus more on high heat producing areas such as video cards and the large fans don't cause a ruckus. It is also one of the first cases to adopt USB 3.0 on the front panel IO connector and doesn't stop there, including every other popular connection as well. It seems almost unfathomable that you can get all this in a case under $200.

Cooler Master has proven many times that they know exactly how to make a a top-notch chassis and the HAF-X solidifies that. If you are up for a very bold styled case that can support almost anything you can throw into it and is guaranteed to meet all your performance needs, the Cooler Master HAF-X should not be overlooked.

  • wish it had a full window

  • very nice review. Well done

  • @MegaElectricity thanks you alot man wish u where here help me build my computer hahaa xD

  • @RewindzCA if you want a really good quality case, check out the cooler master storm trooper (full tower, HAF X successor) or the corsair 500r (midtower) or the corsair 600t (midtower aswell). The shinobi is really a budget case that imo lacks a lot of features. The raven is unique in design but there isnt that many features aswell. The storm trooper is excellent at everything. The 500r does everything aswell except for 4way SLI/crossfire and the same could be said about the 600t.

  • @MegaElectricity so which one would you choose for best airflow and style? shinobi, raven, or haf?

  • @RewindzCA Definately not antec, the 1200 is a terrible case in comparison to the HAF X. I would suggest looking into the raven for style or HAF for funcionality.

  • Bitfenix Shinobi or Silverstone Raven Rv02 or HAF X or Antec 1200 Help me choose please!

  • @vargasjohn99 yes
