@WilhelmDrake I love you.

@AlVlen And that's evidently why Rev. Kevin Annett continues to be a Christian minister; just that it's not with any of the institutionalised churches. He's a community minister with the Squamish tribe in BC, Canada, near Vancouver, and he serves as a true minister of the religious faith that Yeshua of Nazareth taught and lived by, according to scripture. He knows Yeshua isn't guilty for the sins of the institutionalised churches, or of any people claiming to be Christian.

@AlVlen There's much in the Old Testament that needs to be understood only in metaphorical terms, or let it be totally ignored, but not everything in the two books of the Bible is wrong, or incredible. The social teachings of Yeshua (Jesus) of Nazareth are right; to help the poor, sick, and imprisoned, and to throw "money changers", ie, racketeers, out of temples and, so, also churches. Etc. He didn't teach much of mystical sort; having mostly taught beneficial social conduct.

@rAinBowSaviour But Yeshua of Nazareth never established any religious [institution], and warned that all human instituations will fail (and all do). Churches were institutionalized by humans, not by him. He had nothing to do with the RCC forming in Rome, uniting with the Roman Empire, and so on. Apostle Peter first opposed establishing this, and Paul, but was outvoted by other Apostles, from what I learned at, I believe, a Franciscan monestary. They knew the RCC is corrupt.

@rAinBowSaviour True religion is not poison, as Rev. Kevin Annett exemplifies. You mean institutionalised religion; where, like with govt and politics, there's a lot of hypocrisy, et cetera. Not all members are guilty of any wrong doings, but many are in various ways; for some of them, it's only due to them being aware of the crimes and being silent about it, but not responsible for the crimes. I'm a USA'n and am definitely not responsible for crimes of the USA.

As Canadians we have an obligation, first and foremost, to expose, criticize, and rectify those crimes committed in our name by our government, churches, corporations, institutions both public and private.
A good place to start would be those crimes committed against Native Peoples & Nations.
Then, maybe, we can speak of the crimes of others.

Hi TessDragon,
I watched this video and the apology video (Canadian PM Harper and the House of Commons). This is quite a serious issue as we can see that there are still, today, many religious cults that are abusing children throughout the world. It is time for all cults to be disbanded and driven into darkness for their atrocities against humanity. Sadly, they continue to present on a political stage to claim rights to practice their sorcery, freely.
Religion is poison.

Why dont you two have some respect and go have your ignorant conversation somewhere else. This is a serious and solemn time for us and we dont need this from you Thank you.

I suppose it is always the same when dealing with Xstains. The conversation becomes inane when they can't admit the fallacious nature of the Bible. You can choose to deny the fallacies, but until you learn to question the false doctrines you've come to believe, then you will only ever know the traditions (culture) of men. And you will only ever aspire to keep the commandments of men. Such is the life of a cultist that is in direct conflict with discipleship. lol
As a Mohawk woman, this breaks my heart. However, I would like to note the strength that I see here coming from the Mohawk nation, and I would like to acknowledge the elders here in their upcoming battle. I raise my hands to you and say thanks. I will be home soon

Now, we need to assemble the nations otherwise the SPP will pass through and there there will never be justice for the people not only with this but with their treaties. -- Nicole LeBrasseur - Please contact me as there are 2 court claims filed against Canada and the USA, the Queen and the Church.
