I have just purchased one of these and am also new to all this. I assume that you cannot get the sound from this loco with a control system which comes with a DC system train set - thanks

Layout looks good but the trains 'need some muck on em'.... eg weathering a little

I like your model railway and the sound fitted 20 and 37. If I had these it would annoy the neighbours though!
I'm still interested in other's model railways even though my own's taken a back seat now and will be my last one. I've put a few (low res) videos of it on Youtube to remember it by; these were the first trains run for 2 years after the kitchen things were stored in there.
I especially like the 37 going over the viaduct; it's like Glenfinnan on the West Highland line.

The 37 does not seem to make much noice, sounds like its coasting all the time.
