.. this time 'amateur naturalist' Jamie Benton Jones catches a Poplar Hawkmoth using his mercury vapour lamp in an oak forest in England. One of the 9 permanently resident Hawkmoths here in the UK . JBJ explains how it lives and reminds us that its transformation from caterpillar to moth is one of the most magical and extraordinary events imaginable..
