  • Our excursion train shares tracks with Watco's Austin Western RR.

  • EMD Baby!! great vid!!

  • Okie is right. WAMX is WATCO. I work for them.. we are a shortline out of pitt, ks.

  • wamx is watco.. not a leasing company.. they are an owner of shortline railroads, i worked for them.

  • WATCO here in Michigan took over for NS the spring 0f 2009. Here it is Grand Elk Railroad Company and run from Elkhart IN. North to Grand Rapids MI. Was not enough work for NS so they leased the tracks out to Watco.

  • Watco is the parent company of the largest shortline railroad network in the USA. It is based in Pittsburg, Ks and has shortline railroads from coast to coast.

  • WAMX stands for Webb Asset Management, i will send u a link, they have alot of engines with differnt road names, ya must be a leasing company

  • WAMX is a leasing company ex. HLCX CEFX EMDX ect. I have no clue what Watco is. It's possibly just an private company locomotive UP is transferring to fix that locomotive.
