Walk finished and Steve gives his final assessment of the walk while walking through Horton in Ribblesdale back to the car. We began the walk at 8.50am and finished at 6.50pm making it exactly 11 hours from start to finish. Distance was 25.2 miles. Ascent/ Descent was 1683 metres. Routecard available on request. Thank you.

  • The legend returns each summer to capture a few more UK moments on the hills and his perpetual stamina keeps us mere mortals going.

  • Very moving, a walking legend doing the big 3 for the last time. An inspriration to the next generation of hillwalking folk. A loss for the fells and a big gain for the majestic peaks of New Zealand thats for sure. Well done chaps.

  • I haven't either yet, nearly did last friday but ran out of daylight. Will do in the spring. By then I may have perfected a freaky moustache like Steve's.

  • A very enjoyable serial of videos. Many thanks to both of you. I've done all three but never in one go - I'm called "The Two Peak Man"!!!!
