DSPORT Nissan Skyline GT-R 9.86 @ 145 mph : Battle of the Imports November 2009. DSPORT R33 GT-R vs the YoParts R35 GT-R. The R35 got a bad start and Ed Bergenholtz let off. This was the best pass for the DSPORT R33 this day. http://www.gtrusablog.com http://www.2009gtr.com http://www.dragsport.com

  • 9.86? The most I know this car has is 1031hp. With 886hp it ran a 9.97 so wtf if going on here? I would have thought it would run a 9.6-9.4 at least.

  • Broke a valve.

  • that was not even a race why not try to at least find another car with at least 1 thousand horse

  • They were both just running exhibition passes.

  • its still no where near the record breaking r33 which did sumthing like 7.57 i believe..

  • The HKS R33 did 7.6~, around there. The Heat Treatments R32 from New Zealand did around 7.57. Both of those cars are race cars. The car in this video is a street car, with a plate, driven on the street.

  • I am a fan of both drag and circuit cars.

Being a fan of one motor sport discipline, does not preclude me from liking another.

Why would a drag car hater such as yourself watch a drag run anyway? Go spread your hate elsewhere

ps. dumber is in the dictionary, its an adjective of dumb

    Also, its a goddamn STREET R33. R33!!!!

  • Ahh ok.

  • There was something wrong with the R35 GT-R on its first pass of the day . . . it did MUCH better in subsequent passes . . . That said, the R33 would've taken the race regardless . . . stock R35 vs HIGHLY modified R33 . . . no race there folks . . .
