Damin Spritzer in concert. Turn up the volume on this one! This is a big pipe organ and Ms. Spritzer is not afraid to use it. Lots of tone colors and expression. You have never heard this concerto performed and recorded like this. Damin Spritzer is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and the Eastman School of Music. She currently performs concerts and recitals throughout the United States. For more visit www.daminspritzer.com.

  • That last section that begins at 6 minutes and 29 seconds is far better than any other version of the Concerto I have ever heard. It is the strings that give it a celestial lift perhaps.

  • @Daunie1 Of course organ can be emotional and appealing :)))) I'm an organist myself and I love what I do!!!

  • That 2-manual instrument is a beast! Ms. Spritzer nails this piece and especially the registrations.

  • overwhelming... don't forget it's Poulenc ;-)

  • Slower tempos than what I am accustomed to...but I'm likin' it!

  • Rock me Amadeus!

  • What a splendid idea to put this on YouTube! Congratulations with your performance, mrs Damin Spritzer, I'll come back regularly to listen to you!

  • Very moving. Sad and eloquent.

  • Wow, who knew organ could be so emotional and appealing. Worth a real listen. I like her interpretations so much!
