In this video we use Dreamweaver, Fireworks and some CSS to add a background shadow to a website. This can be used in any version of Fireworks or Dreamweaver including CS3, CS4 or CS5.

  • @TonyasDynamicDesigns I followed some tutorials on here, and without this 'cleaner' (just the name given to a div) the drop shadow would only go along the header and not along the content area. This is the CSS:

    .cleaner { clear:both; width:100%; }

  • 10/10. Thanks for the tut, I was looking for a drop shadow and it worked brilliant. The way I built my website though I needed to add a cleaner to allow the shadow to wrap around the content.
