@fatmanracing The smoother the surface? The better it's going to look when finished. It's up to you what kind of look you want. Transmissions usually run about $250 and up.

Can a grit blasted/peened surface be dipped, or does it have to be a smooth finish surface.
Is it expensive to have done. (how much would that transmission case cost, approx).
Many Thanks.

I'll ship mine out to you ? let me know what it would run me...

@streetplatoon562 When one gets dropped off for work I will shoot a video. But to be honest we don't have many of those requested so I would not hold your breathe.

I have a 2006 dodge ram 1500, my dash has hard plastic but it's got weird design on the plastic, not sure if it counts as porous or not and if I would be able to dip it. Any way I can email you a picture of it so you can tell me, or maybe you already know the answer...

@Bundysvideos It's not porous and it's probably ABS plastic...knock it down with 500 grit and paint away...

Have you ever thought of doing custom airbrush work before applying a clear coat, to give it an even more custom look?

@Bundysvideos I'm not that good of an artist...

how strong is this material,or do i have to apply a clear coat? great videos thanks

@NELODOMI1 The material becomes part of the paint so clear coat is definitely recommended. I do not send out anything without a clear coat on it.
