Victor Martínez is no longer a Cleveland Indian - Te Dejaré

Victor was the heart and soul of the Tribe, one of the rare players that really loved the city of Cleveland, loved his Indians and wanted to play here the rest of his career. That kind of love and dedication can never be replaced, not by the best prospects or anyone. I'll never understand how you can send someone like that away, and I'll never forgive Mark Shapiro for doing it.

Good luck in Boston, Victor. I'll always be a fan of yours, no matter what uniform you wear. We're gonna miss you so much..

I already miss him so much. I went to the game on Saturday... a few sections away from me, the fans started chanting "We want Victor!" after Wyatt Toregas botched a play.. We're not gonna get over him for a long time.. It's not the same team without him. They're just a group of guys now, not a real team anymore.

I remember when victor came back to Cleveland a couple weeks ago, he passed up the nice hotel he was supposed to stay at for the people who raised him there in Cleveland. what a good guy. I remember what he said to his son "Where do we keep Cleveland" his son pointed to his heart.

I miss him every day Marson and Redmond suck soooo bad Santana is going to amazing but he wont be Victor. Maybe we can get hm back next year since he will be a free agent but most likely not since Santana is our future. Victor will always be known as an Indian no matter what. We developed him and he has had his best years by far in Cleveland.
