Mª Eugenia Girón key speaker at the London Business School

On 12 April, Maria Eugenia Giron, the author of the recently launched Inside Luxury (published by LID Publishing), was a main speaker at an event held at the London Business School during the London Bookfair, entitled "Understanding the Luxury Sector".

Her co-speaker was Guy Salter, Deputy Chairman of The Walpole Group. Together, they covered topics including: the development of the luxury sector; the drivers behind 2010's exception growth in the luxury sector; changes in consumer values and technology that will shape the luxury sector; as well as the luxury sector in emerging markets such as China. Nearly 100 people attended the event, which was followed by drinks and the book's presentation.
