Good video - I'm a football referee (soccer to y'all) and perhaps it would be good to point out that the sanction for offside is an indirect free kick, to be taken at the spot of the offence.
There can never be an offside if the player receives the ball directly from a goal kick, a corner kick or a throw in.

I dont care what anyone says ..its a stupid rule. I understand it, but that doesnt make it a good rule. I can fix soccer in one sentence, here we go. First get rid of the Offside rule, second shrink the goal by 1/3 the size, there ya go. First off by shrinking the goal, even if a player cherry picks the goalie or hangs back to get a long ball, its not gonna be easy for him to score, so players will prolly hang back, keep failing, but the game moves much faster. Fixed

@eqgmrdbz Hey, I get it. However, the rule's there to basically prevent cherry picking...FIFA keeps massaging this rule though, in my opinion, to increasing the scoring opportunities. Thanks for the comment!
